Jeff Murray – President
Jeff Murray is the President and owner of Canada Homes for Rent. He has worked in a family owned/operated business in Saint John since 1997, and in 2012, decided to take his interest in real estate development in a new direction. With the help of his wife Lisa and the incredible team they have assembled, they have built Canada Homes into one of New Brunswick’s largest and fastest growing property management companies. What started as a small “spare time” operation, has developed into a team of over 25 people offering everything from Property Management, to Condominium Management, to AirBNB set up and operation just to name a few. In 2016, Jeff became a member of the Canadian Condominium Institute and in July of 2019, he became the President of CCI NB. He hopes to continue to grow Canada Homes until it stretches from coast to coast and will continue to work tirelessly to achieve that goal.
Jason Fillmore – Regional Director
Jason Fillmore has worked in the property management industry for over 12 years. He started his journey with one of the region’s largest property management companies in 2006, when he realized his passion. He worked in three different provinces and became one of the top property management specialist in the Saint John area. In 2011, Jason decided to start his own company and quickly grew “PropertyVine Management ” before merging with Canada Homes for Rent back in March of 2016. Jason’s experience and focus has helped Canada Homes grow into one of the largest and most progressive property management companies in New Brunswick, expanding into the greater Moncton and Fredericton areas in the last 3 years.
Sue Thompson – Property Manager
Sue Thompson joined the CHFR TEAM in the spring of 2017. Sue was brought on as our Tenant Retention Specialist but quickly was promoted to Property Manager. In this role, she oversees the Property Management Division and the team who manage an estimated 1000 residential units throughout New Brunswick. Before joining CHFR, Sue was a Residential Real Estate Salesperson as well as a Commercial Property Project Administrator, this experience has lent itself well to her position as Property Manager. Her role as the Property Manager and her commitment to developing in-house systems has helped the growth of the company overall.
Lisa Murray – General Manager
Erin Chamberlain – Finance Manager
Erin Chamberlain, the first full time employee of Canada Homes for Rent, has been with the company since the start. Having done everything within the organization from property management and leasing to payroll and finances, Erin currently holds the title of Finance Manager. She meticulously oversees all financial aspects of the company and works closely with our owners and tenants to keep Canada Homes the well-oiled machine that we have built it to be. Erin is extremely knowledgeable and dedicated and is always available to answer your questions.
Derek Stuart – Leasing Specialist
Derek Stuart graduated from college with a diploma in Marketing and Business Administration. As the Leasing Specialist for Canada Homes For Rent since Fall 2016, Derek provides professional service to all of his clients. With exceptional knowledge of the greater Saint John rental market, he strives to find the perfect home for everyone.
Kayla Haché – Marketing and Business Development
Kayla Hache is our Marketing and New Business Development Specialist here at Canada Homes. She joined the team in early February, adding to our eccentric and enthusiastic group. With her diverse experience, Kayla strives to bring fresh ideas and help this fast-growing company continue to reach new clients from the Saint John, Moncton and Sussex area!
Mark Splude – Project Manager
Mark Splude joined the CHFR Team in November of 2017, bringing with him over 20 years of service and renovation experience. From Alberta to Ontario, Mark has worked in all facets of building and building maintenance including operating his own successful renovation business in Peterborough, Ontario. Under his management, our service and renovation technicians strive to provide quality work for both owners and tenants alike.
Elizabeth Adams – Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Maintenance Scheduler.
Elizabeth joined the CHFR team in November 2018. After being in the Real Estate industry as an executive assistant for 14 years she decided to change careers. Making her clients and her team members a priority by going above and beyond to ensure excellence and gratification is her 100% guarentee.
Kyle Thompson – Finance
Kyle joined the CHFR team in March, 2019. He has 4 years accounting experience in public, government and not-for-profit accounting.
Kyle brings a can do attitude every day and keeps all the numbers balanced.
Nick Mercer – Property Administrator
Nick Mercer is the Property Administrator for Canada Homes For Rent. Nick strives to ensure all available units are rent-ready by performing thorough inspections, and making sure that our units are turn-key by the day of move-in. Nick works closely with specialists to administer correction of pest-related issues for all properties and to formulate effective plans with pest control and maintenance to stabilize affected units. Nick also works hard to perform in-depth building inspections, residential showings for potential tenants and complete many other property management duties.
